I was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and lived there for the greater part of my life. I moved to Malaysia in 2013 to pursue my Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering. Following the completion of my bachelors degree, I moved to Australia and worked for two years as a sample and food quality assurance officer in Melbourne.

I was always inclined towards pursuing my passion for scientific research and so I opted for a PhD program in Chemical Engineering in Australia. I was awarded a full-ride scholarship to support my education. I hope to further my career in academia after I finish my Ph.D.

I am a Syed-Shia Ithna Ashari practicing Muslim and wear the hijab regularly. I pray all my daily prayers, perform all the wajibat, and have performed Hajj and Umrah multiple times, Alhamdulillah. Having said that, I strive to be a better Muslim every day in every aspect of my life and get closer to my deen.

I enjoy cooking and love to explore different types of cuisines. I would describe myself as a calm and laid-back individual. I enjoy having fun and deep conversations with people. I like to have a positive mindset and strive to be a better person every day to present the best version of myself to the people around me. I am content with my life Alhamdullilah and I am ready to continue my journey with someone who can add to my happiness.
