Hi, I am glad to write our success story and share with all of you. I was quite active on Shaadi.com website and was looking for someone to match my expectations. As is the case with most of us, I got proposals from other members and I too sent interests to other members who, based on their profile, I thought matched my expectations. But most of the times, things could not go ahead as expected. Same was the case with Tanvi. She too got quite a few proposals, but she did not respond to most of them. Back in october 2005, she had sent me an interest on my profile and I had accepted her interest too. But since, we both were unpaid members, we could not contact each other. I went to India in Dec'05 and at that time I had become a paid member, so I could contact other members. I met a few girls during my India trip, but due to some reason or the other, things could not take off and I came back to US without any success on the matrimonial front. During this time, my father too was actively searching for grooms for me, and he contacted Tanvi's father. Since we both were having the same caste background and since the horoscopes too were matching, my parents decided to go to her home and meet her and her family. Both the families liked each other and were in perfect sync with each other. Then, Tanvi and me started communicating with each other through phone and chats and we soon realized that our thoughts are matching and developed a liking for each other.With a couple of months, both the families mingled with each other so fast that everything seemed perfect. But, since me and Tanvi ahd not seen each other, things could not be finalised. Tanvi had got her visa for US and she was to leave for US. I was in US since last 2 years, so we decided to meet each other. I went to meet her in Virginia the very first week she came to US. Believe it or not, it was more like 'Love at first sight', and the more we taled with each other, the more convinced we were that we are made for each other. We conveyed our feelings for each other to our parents and committed each other for a long term relationship. Our marriage is fixed for 14 Dec'06 when we will be going to India and stepping into holy matrimony. Our success made me convinced even further that "marriages are made in heaven' and that nobody gets anything before time or more than his/her destiny.
